The Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Vakhtang Gomelauri held an introductory meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Hungary to Georgia, Anna Maria Siko.
The parties emphasized the importance of existing cooperation between the two countries in different directions. Particular attention was paid to the established fruitful collaboration both in operational and non-operational levels between the law enforcement Agencies of Georgia and Hungary.
Ambassador of the Republic of Hungary conveyed the official invitation from the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Hungary, Sandor Pinter, to Vakhtang Gomelauri and noted that mentioned visit will further contribute to deepening and strengthening the cooperation between the law enforcement Agencies of the two countries.
At the end of the meeting, Vakhtang Gomelauri expressed his gratitude for the steady support of the Republic of Hungary in Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic integration. The Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia accepted official invitation of his colleague and demonstrated his aspiration to pay an official visit to the Republic of Hungary in the nearest future.
